Course: Dessert, Pudding
Cuisine: American, Barbecue, Pudding, Whipped Cream
Keyword: Banana, Chocolate, Dessert, Pudding, Shortbread Cookies, Whipped Cream
Servings: 4 People
  • 1 pkg vanilla pudding and pie filling (I used Jell-O Instant Pudding)
  • 2 c milk
  • 1/4 c mini semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • 8 Pepperidge Farm Shortbread Cookies (or 10-12 Vanilla Wafers)
  • 1-2 bananas
  • whipped cream
Whipped Cream
  • 3/4 c heavy cream
  • 2 T sugar
  • 1/2 t vanilla
  1. Prepare the pudding per package directions using the milk. Add 1/4 c chocolate chips and mix. If you prefer more, add the additional 1/4 c. If you are not using instant pudding, you will need to chill the pudding for an hour before assembling the rest of the dessert.

  2. In individual cups or in a 8x8 pan, layer the dessert in the following order: cookies, pudding, banana. Repeat this order 3 times. Chill in the refrigerator.

  3. While the pudding chills, make the whipped cream using 3/4 c heavy cream, 2 T sugar and 1/2 t vanilla. Beat with a mixer for several minutes until peaks form.
