If you're looking for the perfect cupcake (or cake) recipe, these Golden Butter Cupcakes are what you've been searching for. With a cream cheese frosting and candied edible flowers on top, you can't go wrong with these beauties!
Heat oven to 350. Place cupcake liner in muffin tins.
Using a mixer, beat butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla for five minutes on high speed or by hand until fluffy.
Stir dry ingredients together (flour, baking powder and salt).
Add dry ingredients alternately with milk to first mixture. Start and end with dry ingredients. Blend on low speed just until smooth. Stir in sprinkles (optional). Fill cupcakes halfway to two-thirds full with batter.
Bake 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean.
