These little Broiled Sandwiches are perfect for an appetizer, a lunch with friends or a hearty snack while watching the big game. With a variation for everyone, these are sure to be a crowd pleaser!

Ingredients
  • Rolls I used brioche rolls and french bread as the base for these sandwiches
Vegetarian Version
  • Peppers
  • Oinions
  • Mushrooms
  • Spinach
  • Cheese
  • Fried Egg (optional)
Sweet Potato (Any Combination of the Following)
  • Sweet Potato
  • Banana
  • Cinnamon Sugar
  • Honey
  • Marshmallows
  • Raisins
Meat Lover's
  • Roast Beef
  • Bacon
  • Sausage
  • Cheese
  • Peppers
  • Onions
  • Mushrooms
  • Mustard
Instructions
  1. Prepare any toppings that need to be pre-cooked. I.e.sauté the peppers and onions together, sautéed the mushrooms, boiled and mash the sweet potato or cooked the bacon. Lightly the egg enough to hold its shape so it wouldn’t run in the sheet pan.

  2. On a sheet pan, arrange sandwiches and toppings (I left off the mustard and honey drizzles until after the sandwiches were broiled)

  3. Broil on high for 4 minutes (check after 2 minutes for certain toppings such as marshmallows)

  4. Add drizzle after the sandwiches are broiled (mustard or honey)
