Dollar Spot Tablescape for Valentines Day
Couldn’t you just live at the Target Dollar Spot? That area of the store is basically a store in and of itself. I just can’t control myself when I get into the Dollar Spot Zone. It’s like I blackout and emerge 30 minutes later with $25 worth of items. Stocking stuffers, road trip prizes, party favors and more can be found in this 30 ft x 30 ft haven. Most recently, I’ve tasked myself with decorating my dining table with only items from this section. Hence, my Dollar Spot Tablescape for Valentines Day.
At first this “challenge” was an excuse to buy an obnoxious amount of those cute pipe cleaner Christmas trees that were everywhere this year. But when my Christmas table ended up looking amazing (so mad at myself for not taking a picture of the table), I decided to do this seasonally.
For Valentine’s Day, there were a lot of crafty items so I decided to make this tablescape with my toddler to make this a kids valentines party table setting. Using the 3D hearts from a wreath craft and other stickers, we had so much fun making this table runner. All in all, below is what I used and what each piece cost. All for a grand total of $25. The only exception to my rule is my candlesticks. It took me nearly 7 years to have a place to display them so I’ll probably be working them into all of my tablescapes.
