Basil Chicken and Pasta Toss

Tossing together a weeknight meal is often a whirlwind that leaves behind more mess and commotion than happy memories. But every mouth I feed loves this one-pot Basil Chicken and Pasta Toss, which means less food being tossed from the high chair to the floor. Fewer leftovers need to be tossed after having been forgotten in the fridge for two weeks. And I feel less like my kitchen has been tossed when it comes time to clean up.
In fact, this is one toss that makes meal prep faster and life much easier. Chop a few veggies, simmer a sauce, cook some pasta, and toss! If you are a simple throw-together weeknight cook, add Granny’s Basil Chicken and Pasta Toss to your weeknight rotation. Use a rotisserie chicken from your grocery store to make the recipe even easier. And a hot tip from our intern: Never throw away the disgusting-looking gel/juice in the container of those chickens. Toss it in the sauce-it’s the best part!

I hope you toss this non-whirlwind recipe into your weeknight rotation. Basil Chicken and Pasta Toss promises less mess and commotion in your kitchen leaving more room to make some happy mealtime memories with those mouths you feed.Basil-Chicken-and-Pasta-Toss-wtih-wine.jpg
